💡 Creative vision:
If you were to ask me what drives me in my creative work, I would say the fact that you can inspire people with things as simple as shapes and colours. Being able to turn them into emotions feels like quite an impressive human ability to have. It takes a few years to master – probably a lifetime – but how rewarding to be able to play with it, a subtle balance between aesthetics and feelings.
🌳 Inspiration:
Outside of work, I became passionate about genealogy research. Every person has a whole story, a heritage waiting to be uncovered. To be able to catch a glimpse of that past feels like a gift. Sometimes you just get a name, sometimes a story or a photograph – it's always a surprise. With over 3,600 people in my tree, I'm constantly learning about history and deepening the connections that make us who we are.
🌌 Introspection:
Another area of interest for me is human consciousness, which has led me to experiment with meditation in many forms. Introspection is quite a powerful tool. It helps to deal with the challenges and situations we all face in our lives, to take a step back and get a new perspective on the things we sometimes get caught up in. A journey that continues to influence my creative, professional and personal growth.
🐣 Connexion:
Have I saved the best for last? Well, becoming a father is certainly a transformative experience – a rite of passage. Humility, compassion, emotional intelligence, parenthood is a beautiful and hard teacher. It opens up new dimensions of love and allows us to enjoy what really matters, the simple things in life.
